What makes the Salado Chamber of Commerce so special?  Many reasons...

We PROTECT, PROMOTE and SERVE almost two hundred members, ranging from individuals to couples, out of town members, basic members to the fully privileged members.  We provide a Visitor’s Guide that is printed in the tens of thousands and a website that is visited by more than 150,000 prospective visitors.  That is a lot of people looking at SALADO!

We grow every day!  Because we listen to what our Chamber Members need, that gives us the ability to create and plan programs to bring new members in, to bring new residents in, to promote tourism, and to promote SALADO!

We support our Village!  The Chamber of Commerce initiated a fundraiser to purchase the first fire truck over 40 years ago!  We also supplied the nucleus that raised funds for the renovation of our historic Civic Center.  We host an Annual Art Fair (almost fifty years strong!) that has brought in tens of thousands of artists, artisans and visitors to SALADO, our beautiful Village!

We support Tourism!  The Chamber often hosts and promotes events throughout the year that brings in tourists.  Some love our Village so much they make SALADO an annual stop!  We also host the Christmas in October, the Christmas Stroll and so much more that brings in tourists from all over.  We’ve had visitors from Puerto Rico, Japan and even Nepal!

What more can you ask for?  A business minded, community involved Chamber of Commerce that PROTECTS, PROMOTES, and SERVES is just the right combination to a successful lifestyle and company.
